Our order was missing stuff and so was the peoples infront of us and the family after. Not good

We drove up to this location from several miles away since it is one of the last A&W's around. When we approached the counter the lady standing behind the register didn't say a word to us. After a few minutes i said hi i would like to place a order. She rudely said it will be a few minutes. A little stunned at the fact that was her first response i said ok. After she went to the bathroom and came back we placed are order. Ordered the usual burger and fry meals. My wife ordered the root beer float and the lady informed us they were out of root beer. Wait.... Your out of root beer. Yes they were out of there homemade root beer. They had to get it at the fountain machine. We got our food ate it. Food was not good. I walked to register of the gas station attached and asked if those were her employees. She said no they were A%W employees i said ok i was looking to file a complaint. Walked back to my seat. Lady walked back with me. Turned out she was there boss and she just didn't want to get in trouble. She tried to apologize but at this point it was to late. Very bad service. Poor Food. Lying staff.... Fake root beer.... Never went back
Tried again today. One lady who is taking orders is running her legs off. The lady cooking absolutely didn’t care about anything. When she put my 2 simple cheese burgers out, didn’t say a word and another customer is looking and touching my burgers thinking they were hers. The service really depends on who’s working. Never again.
